BGFC Golden Lions Academy is the first of its kind in Bowling Green and surrounding communities uniting all skill levels under one professional pathway.

We proudly serve players from Hopkinsville, Madisonville, Owensboro, Glasgow, Russellville, and beyond. Our top-level team, the BGFC Golden Lions, competes in the UPSL, officially sanctioned as a 4th tier professional league by the United States Soccer Federation.

With elite coaches and a focus on development, BGFC is building more than a club, we’re building a soccer movement in Western Kentucky.

🦁 The BGFC Golden Lions Semi Pro

Founded in 2021, our men's senior team launched into the UPSL with an 11-1 record, winning the regular season and playoffs, and reaching the national Round of 16 in their inaugural season.

All home matches are played at “The Pit” (BG Junior High School).
